Goodbye Leaves Hello Snow!

Since we cut all the trees down in our backyard we only have the 3 in the front to give us leaves. The kids had been wanting to rake them up to make a pile to jump in for days but I kept putting it off waiting until the majority of the trees fell off so I would only have to rake once. Well the weather forcast said there would be snow in the morning so we decided it was time to rake them up and the kids had a ball jumping in the leaves and getting buried.

The next morning we woke up to everthing being covered in snow it was beautiful and all the kids wanted to do was play in it. It was our first snow. Being the mean parents we are we made them clean up the house before they went outside so they finally made it out about 10 am and stayed out for two hours, even Lucy. She insisted on going outside with her brothers and would not come in.

It was too cold out for me. I went out to take the picture and ran back inside and got the hot chocolate ready for everyone. That's my job. The kids are so ready for winter and a continual blanket of snow.
