Day 25: I am Thankful to be an American

I am so thankful to be blessed to live in this land of the free. I totally take it for granted but every 4th of July I get very emotional as I ponder this great blessing. Living so close to Hill Air Force Base I hear jets all day long and am reminded of the great sacrifice so many men and women make as they serve our country protecting our rights and freedom. Just having Neil gone for a few days, I go crazy taking care of all the kids by myself, and I don't see how so many military wives do it for months at a time. I am thankful for our inspired founders who created this nation. They truly were amazing men who were led by the hand of the Lord. I get upset as I see people try to take away the freedoms this land was founded on. America is a wonderful country!
