Day 8: I am Thankful for Big Carts
Today I had to run some errands with all the kids plus Presley which is always such a chore. First we went to Costco. Lucy and Mikey sat in seats and the other three piled in the back. It was so nice. I didn't have to chase or yell after anyone. What a nice change. It may have helped that they each got a hot dog and drink at the beginning of our shopping. Once they were done with those we went to the books and they each picked out a book to look out while I finished shopping. An older lady stopped and looked at my cart and had a huge smile on her face. She just had to tell my that my kids were all so cute and that they were all so adorable having a picnic in the cart. Always makes a mother proud when someone compliments their kids. They were awesome and we were there 1 1/2 hours. I don't think Costco has the best food prices but I love their books, toys and Lehi Roller Mills Flour! They had a lot of clothes on closeout so I picked up a couple shirts and pants for myself as well as for Neil. Too bad the clothes didn't look so hot on me when I got home. I'm still trying to convince myself they look cute since they were so cheap but the pants were totally riding and I can't have that now. Once again I'm thankful for those huge carts with the all the little ones. It makes shopping almost bearable. Walmart's and Target's big carts are pretty awesome too and I can even buckle three of them in so they can't get out.
