Day 18: I am Thankful for Pizza and Movie Night

For the past 4+ years every Friday has been pizza night. Sounds a little boring I know but the kids love and live for it. Sometimes I buy the pizza but usually I make it now since our family needs two large pizzas and it gets too expensive to buy every week. It makes meal planning much easier. I know I just have to come up with 6 new meals each week instead of seven. I usually just make pepperoni or pepperoni with sausage because that's what the kids like but sometimes I'll make ham and pineapple or bbq chicken for Neil and I. Neil loves my pizza and if we're going on a date or he'll miss it he'll always ask me to move pizza night to another night but the kids always protest. They are used to our routine and there is no deviating. Since our kids don't watch much tv we decided to make Friday night movie night as well and once again nothing gets in the way of their movie night. They each take a turn getting to pick the movie we watch and no one's allowed to fuss about it. Wait until Lucy's old enough to pick all those princess movies. I wonder how that will change things up. We did watch Annie the other night and the boys really liked it. It was my night to choose obviously. Tonight Neil and I are going on a date and a young man is coming to babysit who comes over and plays Killer Bunnies with our family. The boys were so excited he's their sitter and to play their favorite game but once they realized it was Friday night they reneged on Killer Bunnies and opted for a movie. They love their movie night and I love the predictability of Fridays.
