Day 6: I am Thankful for Good Sundays
Having what I consider a good Sunday where we get to church on time with little yelling, the kids sit reverently during sacrament, we come home and everyone takes a nap and I get some time to myself with little to no fighting rarely happens but yesterday came pretty close. We got to church in the nick of time. What always makes us late is the shoes. Why can't we ever find the shoes, even if I set them out the night before, there is always a problem with the shoes. But I was on time with 3 of the kids and Neil came a little later with Mikey, the shoe problem. Neil had a pep talk with Lucy before church about not screaming during sacrament. I think it actually worked because she sat on either Neil or mine lap practically the whole time. She only had a meltdown the last 5 minutes when she accidentally ripped my scriptures and they got taken away. The three boys were awesome. I got to lay down for an hour, although I didn't fall asleep, too much to think about. We got to have a delicious dinner with family, which is always a highlight with the kids. We got home a little late which made putting kids to bed easier. It was a great Sabbath and I'm thankful and nothing's better than dressing this sweet little doll up each week in her Sunday best.
This is part of the fun of having a little girl. Her she is with her trademark hair do. Half up in two little ponies with matching bows. I don't know what else to do with it until the sides grow out a little more. I just switched out her 18 month clothes for her 2T clothes and she has way to many cute dresses. It's so hard to choose. I can't wait until she can wear her holiday dresses. Too bad red's not her best color.
