Day 9: I am Thandful for Girlfriends

Today I am so thankful for friends. Some are really good constant friends I've known for years like Connie, Kristin, Raya and Jaimee. I wish I lived closer to these girls. They're the ones that really know me. I have so many good memories with them that sometimes I wish we could go back for just a day to our college days and just dance, be goofy and laugh at each other but now we're all mothers and dealing with the major stresses of parenting and money and everything else. I've had other people who've come and gone because of moves but were there for a certain time in my life. Women such as Sarah, Kristen, Jenny, Teri, Meagen and Leanne. Thank goodness for blogs that allow us to keep up on each other occasionally. I am also thankful to my wonderful friends I've made in Layton. There are so many women who help me out with my kids at the drop of a hat so I can volunteer at the school or go to doctor appointments or just because I need a break. Jen, Jeri, Lauren, Rachel and Amy I am thankful for all your help and concern for me. I'm thankful for the Lord for putting wonderful people in my life who've helped me along the way and who make life so much more fun and interesting. Sometimes you just need a girlfriend because your sweetheart, no matter how well intentioned, just doesn't understand.
