Beka and Matt got married on May 7th which gave all the Hibberts to get together, minus JT. This is the first time all the Hibbert clan have been together with all the grandkids in years so it really was a time to celebrate. The Scotts drove straight through for 24+ hours and got in on Tuesday. We had the pleasure of having their tribe staying with us during their visit. It was so good to get to know their family better. They are an awesome family with some great kids. Since they were coming Neil and I decided to finally finish our basement. Since we had a deadline we really went to it and about killed ourselves. It was more work than either of us realized mostly because we had never done anything like it before and had to learn as we went. The only thing that didn't get done were putting in the furnace doors and almost two months later they are still not in. It's so nice to have the playroom downstairs where it's cool. I can't say it has helped with the mess around the house though.
Since everyone was in town Kim and Linda rented out a couple of party rooms at Noah's on Thursday night so we could all hang out and have some fun. The best part was that the Wrides arrived safely from Chile that day to join the party.

There was Wallyball that the older kids loved playing
until Lily or Lucy would run away with the ball. You know the rule: the babies always get what they want so they don't scream.
We also set up the Wii and all did Dance Revolution. That was so fun. Watch out Camilla has got some killer dance moves.
Here we are just chatting watching Neil slide the little ones across the slippery floor. They loved it.
There was also ping pong, fooseball, pool and arcade games. Here Corey and Eric are discussing politics while trying to play a very challenging game of ping pong without hitting Lily who insisted on being on the table.Friday night we got babysitters and just the adults went out to dinner at Sweet Tomato. It's always nice to get away without the kids.
Saturday was the sealing and reception. The sealing was at 1pm which was great when it came to getting all the kids ready in their Sunday best. Beka and Matt did exactly what they wanted and it was the best Hibbert wedding ever. It was so fun. They only had their siblings, parents and grandparents in the sealing and for the reception they had a sit down dinner and only invited their best of friends and family. It was an intimate affair and wonderful. I give them props. Beka and Matt are two peas in a pod. I can't think of two people more perfect for each other. I wish them much happiness in their marriage.
Linda was able to get some friends to come watch the 24 grandkids while all the adults went to the sealing. The kids were great it sounds like.
Seriously where did this kid come from. He sat and read his scripture readers the whole time we were in the sealing without saying a peep.
While we waited for the bride and groom to come out we took lots of pictures of all the families.

The Smarts. Jared is the appointed photographer and chef in the family and they have the house that everyone wants to be at. It is just so fun to go there!
While we waited for the bride and groom to come out the kids had fun playing in the fountain. It was actually a lifesaver.
Neil and his sweet boys.
All the grandkids, minus Dallon who was sleeping.
In between the sealing and reception we all went to Chick Filet to get some lunch and to let the kids get their wiggles out in the play place. The reception was held at Noah's again on the terrace. It was a beautiful setting
Except for Uncle Eric was around. She really got attached to him and just cried when he left. It was so cute. He never bribed her with candy or anything. She just liked him.
Since Mother's Day was the day after the wedding, Jared and Jerusha were gracious enough to let us all come over to their house one last time before the Scott's left to go back home. Jared also cooked dinner for us all so none of the mother's had to work. Is he awesome or what and of course it was delcious. I have some wonderful in-laws! We discussed having another reunion of sorts in two years since we all had so much fun. Hopefully we'll stick to it. It's just so fun seeing all the grandkids play together.
