Day Out With Thomas

While I was in Georgia Neil got to take Mikey on a special date: A Day Out with Thomas. Mikey's train phase is beginning to end so we thought we better take him to this event in Heber this year. I wasn't there but Neil said he felt so special and just loved everything about it. Neil also said he felt like he was walking around with the cutest kid there. Everyone who saw Mikey would just smile at him. I made sure Neil dressed him in his Thomas overalls (thanks Connie, he loves them) and hat. Here are some of the pictures from the day.
Can you count how many times he is grabbing himself in these pictures. I tried hard to find some when he wasn't. Boys are so gross at times.

He has always had those shifty eyes.

So happy after finishing a huge thing of blue cotton candy all by himself. Sometimes it's nice not to have your brothers with you. You don't have to share.
They stopped at the Dairy Keen in Heber for lunch and Mikey was so interested in the train going around the restaurant he hardly ate anything. As soon as he was buckled up and they were on their way, Mikey passed out. It's sad knowing that we're almost done with trains at our house. They've been a mainstay for the past four years. It is still a Sunday tradition for Neil to build Mikey a cool track.
