Fathers and Sons Campout

Neil took the boys on the annual fathers and sons camp out on June 17th. It was up at Valley View where we had girl's camp last year. They had an absolute ball. They got to go swimming. Conner said his favorite part was roasting marshmallows. That kid is amazed by fire. I bought some new sleeping bags from Costco during a road show. They are awesome. You can zip all the bags together to make a huge sleeping bag. All three boys slept in two bags. Around 9:30pm when it was finally really dark outside Neil got out his light sabers that light up and attacked the boys. Oh my, this was so awesome. All the kids got into the action. Some of them were a little rough and two of our six got broken. Neil forgot a flash light so the light sabers were a great back up.
Conner making a rocket to blast off.
Getting ready for bed.
For being such a cute little guy he can sure make some ugly faces.
The slide was awesome.
Neil was the last to leave the camp ground. When they got home we got them all ready to go to the stake activity at the Roy Aquatics Center. It was actually really cold but that didn't stop the boys from jumping in and having a ball. Lucy wanted nothing to do with the cold water.
Lucy was content to sit in her stroller and eat creamies. She did get fussy at one time and so our neighbor who we'd invited held her and Lucy wouldn't go to anyone else. She just clung to Regina and if Neil or I touched her she'd growl at us. Finally after 30 minutes Lucy was getting really heavy and Regina gave her back. Lucy is quite the character.
Here Mikey is so cold he's finally done.
