Lincoln Olympics

It's Conner's last week of school and there are so many fun events planned. This morning was the Lincoln Olympics and I really wanted to go so I packed up the three munchkins and went to the high school to watch Conner compete. We made it there just in time to watch the Parade of Nations. They had the Olympic theme song blaring from the loud speakers and all the spectators cheered as their child's class passed.

Conner was chosen to be a flag carrier along with his friend Dylan.
The running long jump was Conner's best event and he got a gold. All the kids got either a gold, silver or bronze for each event. There were about 10 events they got to compete in.

Conner running the 50 meter dash. The 100 meter dash was later and that was a hard event but he still got a bronze.

Here's Conner's class making a bunch of silly faces. He had a great teacher, Ms. Allen. She was diagonsed with breast cancer and went through chemotherapy throughout the year.
