Conner went to Emma Coston's birthday party that was at the Roy Splash Pad. I had never heard of this place before so I got lost and had to stop and ask directions. I had 5 young guys helping me at the Chevron station. We got there a little late so I just dropped Conner off but then I saw the splash park. It's just a bunch of water pouring and spraying out of all different kinds of conntraptions. Sam and Mikey saw it and they wanted to go so we went back home and got their swim clothes on and sunscreen and picked up Neil who had just gotten back from his scout camp and headed over. It was so fun. I can't believe I didn't know this place existed. It is just great because they have a kiddie park, a park for bigger kids with swings and then the splash pad. You could situate yourself so you could see all three parks. I'm thinking this is going to be at least a weekly occurrence. Who needs season passes to Seven Peaks when this is free. I love it because I don't have to worry about a pool and kids drowning but they get plenty wet. We still had our water guns from camping so that was an added bonus.
