Sous Chef

I have the best little helpers in the kitchen. Mikey helps me every night by standing on a chair at the stove and stirring whatever I'm making. I asked him to start helping me months ago one night when he was fighting/bugging his brothers. It was my way to try to redirect his energy. He wanted to help and every night I would ask him to help so now it is routine.

Sam is also a great helper and he's the designated fruit salad maker. It is so nice to be able to pass some of the responsibility of cooking onto the kids. In a couple years they'll be making dinner by themselves and I can't wait!
