A Day Down South
On January 2nd we went down to Orem for the annual Bahr reunion. Since we were already down there we thought we'd make use of our Pass of All Passes (I'm happy to mention I got them for $17 a piece, that's the only reason I bought them). First stop was Walmart to pick up some flowers. While we were there Neil took the kids to they toy section and found some legos that were quite the deal so Neil had to get them. Neil has his own legos and the kids have their own. Then off to the cemetary to visit Grandma and Grandpa's grave. We remember that it was by a tree but must have looked a half hour and could not find us. I wondered if they had moved them. Lucy had had enough already and just threw herself down on the ground and fussed.
Neil finally called his mom and she told us they had cut the tree down so we had been looking in the wrong place the whole time. They were in the next section. It was nice to remember them and remind the boys of our time living with them. Great people.
I'm actually making an effort to decorate our house but everything is working against me. We have sold our blue couch twice now but both times it was too big to get into the wanted room so it is back in our garage. I'm trying to redo the living room and need a rug but it has to be 5'7" or less and I'm having very little luck. Here Lucy is getting squashed between two rugs at the rug store. I feel like I've looked at every store but nothing is jumping out at me.

It was good to see all the Bahr relatives. There were over 100 people there this year.
After the reunion we headed to Trafalga Lehi to use our passes. It was beyond crowded and we tried to talk the kids out of staying but they didn't care so we waited in lines but the kids had a blast. We went mini golfing, played laser tag a couple times, rode the frogger a bazillion times and only Conner did the climbing wall. We were there 4 hours. It was fun.
It will definitely be fun to go back in the spring when the outdoor rides are open.
