Clark Planetarium

I bought a year membership to the planetarium from groupon a while ago and we finally made it down. I've found once you have more than 3 kids it's almost cheaper just to buy a year membership if it's a place we'd like to go to more than once a year. Conner was in absolute heaven. There aren't too many exhibits but the movies are pretty cool. We'll definitely be coming back down while the kids are off track the next 3 weeks.
Sam loved pretending to be Darth Sidious and have the electicity come out of his hands. If only he could really point and aim it at Mikey. J/K.

The ulitmate marble works.

Do you see Conner sitting there. I think this exhibit was about the earth's gravity. We had to pull him away from this to go see the movie.

This was cool to see how much you would weigh on other planets.

What? Lucy made it to Mars. She just climbed and climbed on the rocks. It's surprising she didn't fall down and cut open her forehead.

Mikey on the moon.

We first saw the movie Hubble. It was supposed to be in 3D but the 3D camera wasn't working so we got free passes that we gave to Deet and the Hibberts. Another great thing about having a membership is everyone got a free popcorn. That's an $18 value in itself. I thought the Hubble movie was pretty awesome as did Conner. Seeing the earth from space is just amazing.

The next movie we watched was Flying Monsters, about dinosaurs. Sam and Conner loved this one. After the planetarium we went to Allison's so the boys could get hair cuts and play. She also made us all dinner. Nothing better than a night off.

It was so cute seeing Lucy play with the magnetic dolls. The plan was to go to the Hibberts for 30 minutes and then to head back to the planetarium to see the light show at 8 but they ended up calling us and telling us they had cancelled the show due to technical difficulties. It was probably better that way. It had been a long day and the kids were now able to get to bed at a decent time. I can't wait to go back.
