It Passed

Our fifteen year old rusted out Nissan Altima passed inspections! I am so happy. I didn't think it would. The side mirror is broken and dangling and the check engine light has been on because I think we let it get too low in oil. It also has shut off while stalling a couple times in the last two months (probably the alternator). This car has been such a good car with us hardly having to put any money into it but I fear it is on it's last leg. Since it's just used for Neil to drive the 1/2 mile to the bus stop and occasional errands we are planning on driving it until it dies. Two years ago when we went to get it inspected Meineke did not pass it and told us their were $800 in repairs it needed to pass. We took it somewhere else and it passed no problem. Why do you think we don't trust mechanics, because half of them are crooks. I'm just so happy we'll be able to drive our Nissan one more year, fingers crossed. I dread the day we have to buy a new car.
