Sickly Child

We got a call at 7 on Sunday night from one of Neil's co-workers asking if one of our boys could be in a video for a Mormon Message. They needed a boy who to look sick and lay in a hospital bed and read a book and color. The boy was supposed to be a cancer patient so they asked if we could cut their hair short. We sent pictures of all the boys but knowing Mikey might not cooperate and Sam's pretty active, Conner was chosen. He looks sick anyway with his skinny body and big eyes. At 9 o'clock at night I cut his hair a #2 all the way around. Neil wanted me to go shorter but I just couldn't do it. He looked too goofy as it was so a #2 it was. Conner got to spend the day with Neil at work. He did really good at the shoot and I can't wait to see the message. I'm sure Conner will have a 2 second shot but any little bit is exciting. At work, Conner got to play on the computer the whole time and then Neil took him to Pier 49 Pizza for lunch. At 3 they left to go to the planetarium to watch the movie Black Holes. I had promised Conner I would take him before he went back on track and my time was running out so I'm glad Neil was able to fit it in. Conner was in heaven once again looking at all the exhibits. I was reading a book to him last night about stars and how they are created and died and how the universe began and what not and it was pretty advanced and I just couldn't comprehend it. I did not get it and told Conner that and he said well I do it makes perfect sense. Well there you have it, my budding scientist.
