Finally . . . Snow

Last Saturday I woke up to the most beautiful sight, snow. Finally. We didn't get a white Christmas and we all had been waiting for the snow to come and play. We got a good 6 inches so I spent an hour shoveling while Neil slept in. I loved it. It was fun visiting with all the neighbors too. The kids couldn't wait to get outside and they spent several hours playing.

Mikey and Lucy had finally had enough and were wet and cold and so they came in to warm up with some hot cocoa. I tried very hard to get one picture of them both smiling but it didn't happen.

While everyone was having cocoa, Neil and Conner slipped away to go sledding. We've been patiently waiting for it to return again with no luck. It's been a rather warm January.
