Seventh Heaven

Conner absolutely loves baked beans and coleslaw, which Neil and I aren't big fans on, but I'll make them when we have BBQ sandwiches. I can always count on Conner clearing his plates on these nights. So today we had leftovers and he was so happy.
I would never know Conner liked these two foods if we hadn't lived with Grandpa Bahr, because I would not have made them but Grandpa every now and then would go to KFC and get us all fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans and coleslaw. It was one of his favorites. So now everytime I serve them I think of him. We had some good times with Grandpa. Yesterday, Conner started talking about Grandpa out of the blue. I was really surprised he remembers him and it brought back a lot of memories and of course some tears.
When I wasn't watching him today, Mikey got in the lazy susan and pulled down the container of bread flour and scooted it all across the floor leaving a nice trail. He was having the time of his life. I must not of put the lid on tight. That little rascal.
