Conner the All Too Generous Giver

Today I was at JoAnn's and of course was in a hurry. I had a new small purse and Conner asked what was in the outside zipped pocket. I told him that is where I kept my money. He put his hand in there but I didn't really notice. At check out he was beside me fiddling around. I looked down at the checkout counter and there was a little charity box with a couple of dollar bills and then a twenty. That caught my attention. I thought to myself, wow someone was pretty generous here to this "little" charity. I finished paying and looked back in the box and there were now 3 more twenties. It finally clicked. I asked Conner if he put those in there. Yes mommy. I about died, would they let me take my money back. I sheepishly looked at the clerk and asked if there was anyway to get my $80 back. There was a lock on it and no one in the store knew the code. I asked if anyone had tweezers. They had to call headquarters and after about 20 minutes I finally got my money back. I then let the boys each put a penny in it. Not as generous as Conner but hey it's Christmas and money is tight. I'm just glad I looked back at that box and realized that was my money.

Lillian came over and watched the kids for a little over 2 hours as I went and volunteered at Conner's school. The boys slept the whole time so pretty boring for her beings as we don't have cable. She was asleep on the couch when I got home and had CBS on which is practically just static. We don't get very good reception.
For my info. I filled up the car for $1.37 a gallon. How long is it going to keep going down.
