My New Best Friend

I have made a new friend Neil thinks I spend way too much time with. It's KSL Classifieds. It is wonderful. I was planning on buying some new furniture for the house but when I started looking at prices I thought I can buy one couch maybe so I started looking on KSL and so far I have found a family room set. It is practically brand new. It was used for staging homes in Park City and I got if for half the price you'd pay at Ashley Furniture. I also found a hideaway bed for the living room and get this the bed is actually comfy--who ever heard of that. I also got a patio set. I am still looking for rugs, lamps, roll top desk, wheat grinder, coffee and end tables, a dresser and a queen boxspring. The best part of KSL is I can sell things for free. We sold our green couches and within 2 hours of posting someone had called and picked them up. I couldn't believe how easy it was. I've also sold a dryer and washer and the best was some kitchen stuff. All of my kitchen stuff has been packed away for 3 1/2 years and I didn't even know what I had--well way too much stuff and lots of duplicates. Neil had bought me a set of pots and pans 2 years ago for Christmas that I never had used because I was scared Gma might ruin them so I had an old set I was going to get rid of plus a lot of utensils and rubbermaid and bowls, etc. Normally I would just give it all to DI but after the couch incident I thought why not see. I gave myself 3 days and all this old stuff I would have just given away I got $50 for it. There was some nice stuff though in the box. I am still flabbergasted and the thing is I really helped someone out. A guy from HAFB who had just moved here from Michigan had nothing and was trying to furnish an apartment but said all these little things is what really gets to be expensive so he was so thankful I had all that stuff. Made me feel so good. We both benefited from the deal. So now I am hooked. I look around the house and see what else I can sale. We do have too much stuff. My mom wants me to sell some of the toys and books but those are two things I have a hard tie parting with.
