We woke up this morning to the first real snow. It was beautiful! I love seeing the trees all covered in white. I get so excited to have hot chocolate and we now have a fireplace to warm our hands up on. The boys were so excited and wanted to play in the snow so bad but they are sick and I didn't think it was a good idea but Neil promised them after nap they could go out. As soon as Conner woke up he ran downstairs and started begging so Neil got them all bundled up which is an ordeal in itself--took 1/2 hour. They only played for about 5 minutes before Conner was complaining he was cold and wanted to come inside. Neil and Sam stayed until their snowman was built and then he was done too. Got to start looking for some bigger snow pants for Conner and Mikey needs some.

Ooooohhhhh I miss snow. I was so sad when I heard it was snowing out there! I made me so homesick! I love how Neil gave in...a softy like his own dad.
You got loads more snow than we did here. We got barely a trace. The girls were sad, but since I know we have months of it coming, I wasan't exactly feeling as dramatically disapointed as the kids were.
all we got were flurries down in Payson...I can't complain. I was mad that it got so cold so fast!
