I know I say it all the time but I just love this little girl. She makes us smile and laugh every day. She is not shy and loves being the center of attention. Today at church she was making faces at a family across the aisle and I was dying laughing, not the most reverent thing to be doing during someone's testimony but I just could not help it. She's not so sweet during sacrament meeting. She has been conditioned to know that there are treats in the diaper bag and so whenever she sees it she will whine and fuss until she gets something. Since I'm trying to alter her programming, I've quit putting snacks in the bag which leads to some awful fits.
Eliza loves music and you will often find her head banging in her car seat as we are driving around. Poor girl, her head is the only part of her body she can move since she's strapped down in the 5 point harness. The most precious thing is at church, whenever she hears the organ start to play a song she begins to lead the music. I love seeing her sway her arm to the music. She also likes playing the organ. Sometimes if she is being needy when I'm trying to make dinner I strap her into her high chair and put her in front of the organ and that keeps her happy for a good while. She also loves to dance. Her, Lucy and I always have a dance party after dropping the boys off for school.
She has learned to fold her arms for prayer and what is so sweet is that she will fold her arms, bow her head, and say her own prayer. Almost every time she talks (nonsense) in her sing song voice even though someone else is praying out loud.
Eliza must have pretty soft teeth because both of her two front teeth have gotten chipped sometime but who knows when and where. Neil thinks she doesn't feel pain. She rarely cries when she falls or gets hurt. She's one tough little monkey.
She's starting to talk and it is so cute. She says poo and will come up to me when she's pooped pointing to her bum and say poo poo over and over again. She also says mama, dada, sissy, love you and thank you.
She is in the climbing stage and will get to whatever she wants. She brings the step stool over to climb on the chair to climb on the stool to climb on the counter to get a cup. She is also able to go up and down the stairs walking and not on her tummy. She likes to sit on the counter next to me while I'm making dinner. She hates being tied down and doesn't last long in the stroller. She is a nightmare at the store and only stays in the cart a couple minutes. It's just not worth it going to the store with her so I opt to go late at night. She's a little tornado and can destroy a room in a matter of seconds. Like I always say it's a good thing she's cute.
Allison put her hair in pigtails when we were in California and I just love it.
Conner and Eliza playing a duet. Conner has finally been bitten by the piano but and loves playing. Maybe it's because it's the Christmas season but he plays all the time now which is so awesome. If only we had a real piano.
Neil has these rubber bands he uses to do some knee exercises and one day decided to wrap Eliza up and throw her all over the house and fly. She loved it for the most part.
I don't think my kids look alike but they all have similar features like their big head, big eyes and full lips.
She loves making silly faces.
She loves spaghetti and refuses to be fed. Give me that fork. She also loves to eat, especially Nutella. She will climb in the pantry and grab it. She also likes to use syrup as shampoo. The other day she grabbed the trail mix and went and hid and ate all the m&m's out of it and when I found her and asked for the bag she refused (the first time she hasn't given me something when asked). She's like her momma and likes her sweets. She will do a happy dance when it is time to eat and runs to her chair and get in it.
