Sammy's Texts

Sam has been texting my mom almost everyday for awhile.  It is really cute except for when he's asking her to buy him legos.  Well Mikey asked me to take a nap with him so I obliged and ended up falling asleep.  Sam snuck my phone and since he was bored looked through the contacts and found three of his friends' moms and texted them asking if they could come over and play.  They thought it was me and said sure.  It was a busy day of cooking and not a good day to have friends over but I was asleep.  Sammy wakes me up because my friend is calling to see if she can pick Sam up.  I am just waking up and am so confused.  So we talk and I realize it was Sammy texting and we both get a good laugh.  As I hang up the phone the door bell rings and there is Amy and Katherine ready to play.  I check my phone and sure enough Sam texted their mom as well to see if they could play.  I was too embarrassed to admit I was sleeping and that Sammy had free range of the house so I let them stay.  It was pretty funny and ended up being a blessing.  Jeri offered to do a play date the following day and so I was able to have 3 hours of solitude to cook while they played and Lucy napped.  It was fabulous.  Maybe I should let Sam use my phone more often.
