Exercising

Allison took her treadmill back so Neil and I have not been as good about exercising.  To reach 80% of our fitness goal for May/June we have to exercise 5 days a week for 30 minutes (900 minutes total) and lose 4 pounds.  It's almost June and I've only lost 1 pound.  I've walked around the neighborhood a few times with Mikey and Lucy in the bike stroller but I get nervous walking by myself so I don't feel comfortable doing that.  So my other option is Jillian Michaels videos.  I bought her new one extreme shed and shred after reading lots of great reviews.  It's interesting.  I could do all of the first segment and didn't think I had worked much but I was so sore for 5 days, a good thing I guess except I'm always going up and down stairs and that's the biggest killer.  It hurts when you're sore.  I have yet to do it again.  I like her 1st video better.  I try to do it before the kids get up but lately they are down there so they watch it and sometimes join in which makes me lose my concentration because they are so funny.  So tonight out of the blue for about an hour all the kids began to exercise.  The boys all took their shirts off.  They were cracking Neil and I up.  If I had their form, it would definitely be a lot easier.  Mikey's quite the little personal trainer.  He has a timer and keeps shouting at the others, hurry up, you can do it, not much longer.
