The Real World Stinks
Last week Conner pretty much liked school. One day he said it was a little boring but Friday is Fun Friday and they have show and tell and he took his calculator, they go to computers, music and PE. He was happy because during PE they raced and he came in 5th. Well today he did not want to go to school. He pouted and then he cried a little and gave me those big sad puppy dog eyes. And why does he not want to go to school . . . well they don't play enough and he wants to play a lot at home. It made me laugh. When he was in preschool all they did was play and I guess that's what he thought school was and it's a huge reality shock for him. I had the other two ready and Conner dressed and when I went to help him with his sandals he started kicking me. Oh no. I had to be firm and tell him he is going to school no matter what. He still wouldn't come so I put Mikey in the stroller and began to walk and out he came running after us. Still told me the whole way there he did not want to go. It will be interesting to see how he is when I pick him up. Poor Conner.

Poor Conner. Hope he handles it ok. He is still pretty young to be in school. is it too late to back out? Not that that is the right thing to do....sad. I hope Anna doesn't pull the same type of thing. You never know.
Its so hard to grow up! Lately Reuben won't go into primary on his own! Where did this come from? Last week I had to tell him that pretty soon he'll be riding the bus all by himself to school and walking into school all by himself. That was a wake up for him! And if he can't even do it at church?!
