In the Zone
Allison got a hotel one night so we decided to go down and take advantage of the pool and tv. I rushed down there and in my hurry forgot all the swimsuits. I had all the towels but left the suits on my bed. Luckily Alli lives near by and was able to round up some suits. Here the kids are waiting to go swimming and for the pizza.
This is what tv-deprived kids look like. I don't think anyone even blinked for a half hour.
Everyone fell asleep on the way home except for Lucy but that was okay because for the whole 45 minute drive she sang Ma Ma Ma Ma continuously. Since she doesn't talk it was music to my ears. In the last couple days she's starting to say more syllables and the boys get so excited and will run to me and say Mom Lucy just said a word, wa or ba. Don't you love our seventh passenger in the back. We drive with him in our window all month long. It's double sided so those on the outside get a nice spooky glare too. I love it. It's one of the first decorations Neil and I bought to put on our front door when we were first married and I've kept it these past nine years. He makes a good addition to our family.
