Since I love Halloween I let my kids dress up whenever they want and Lucy has 6 Halloween shirts plus this cute outfit my mom sent her. She's already worn it 5 times. If she's not wearing it she's got a Halloween shirt on. Mikey got this dinosaur costume from Deet. She made the mistake of giving Mikey an outfit of Jaxson's once when we were at her house and now everytime he go he asks for some more clothes and last time she found this and he wears it all the time. He wore it to the boys' soccer games and chased everyone around roaring like a dinosaur. It was pretty funny. When he wears it you have to call him baby dinosaur. If you call him Mikey he ignores you. When he's in costume I too become Mommy Dinosaur even though I'm not dressed up. He's a funny kid. The same thing at Jerusha's house. One time she gave him gummies because he was crying because he didn't want to leave. So now every time we're there he won't leave until he gets gummies. Jerusha you better always have gummies or you just may get a 7th child! The problem is whenever we go to anyone's house now he expects something when we leave and always asks very persistently which gets embarassing. Thanks aunts! Mikey has a very sweet/annoying habit of yelling at everyone when they leave the house. He will scream at the top of his lungs Bye Conner, I love you, see you late alligator, i love you . . . . until they are out of sight. It is really loud and you'd think he was in trouble or hurt. He does it to Neil and he gets so frustrated because Mikey expects you to say it back a million times too as he's chasing the car down the road. The other day when I dropped the boys off at school Sam was telling Mikey to please just say one thing and not to scream a ton of stuff at him because it was annoying. You've got to experience it for yourself to understand. Oh Mikey, where did he come from. I don't know but he sure keeps us on our toes.
Who let the cat out of the bag? Lucy is so stinkin' cute but not photogenic at all. She's in a fun yet annoying stage right now. She climbs on everything and loves to get into the cupboards and gets stacks of cups and then spreads them throughout the house. She makes her own steps. She'll pull a chair up to her high chair up to a stool to get to the counter. She also likes to get on the counter because there is always stuff left out. The other day she got into the Nutella and had it all over her and her clothes. That day I did not think it was cute so I did not get a picture but instead threw her in the tub seething. She is always in my makeup/lotion/deodorant drawer ruining stuff. She still refuses to talk but she shakes her head no no no every day all day long. She is such a hoarder. She is always carrying around an armful of random stuff until she finds a bag to put it in. Must be a girl thing.

If I were a spectator watching Mikey say 'goodbye, I love you' to you and Neil as you left for the temple.... .I would've thought you were leaving for a LOONG vacation. Cute tho.
I'm sorry to say, my friend, that it does not get any better. I'm still fighting to keep Cindy out of my make-up, hairspray, and just about anything else I can claim as my own. It's especially irritating now that she looks better wearing my make-up and hairspray than I do.
