Happy Birthday To Me!

Friday was my birthday and Neil decorated the whole house. Lucy loved all the balloons and streamers and was so distracted by them she had a hard time eating her breakfast. She kept pointing to everything and laughing, smiling and babbling. Neil also got up early to go get my favorite donuts from Madbrooks. Their twists are about a foot long. I love the Bismarks. I ate donuts all morning so I wasn't hungry for lunch. I watched Jax and Presley so the day was crazy and I was so ready to get out of the house. Linda came up to watch the kids and I went to Salt Lake to pick up Neil from work about 5. When Neil asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday I thought about it for a minute and said the temple. Let's go do sealings. I just had a feeling we needed to go and boy did we ever. It was probably the most amazing experience I have ever had in the temple. I need to jot the feelings and knowledge I gained down in my journal (I'm so bad about that). After the temple we went to Tucanos because I got a free meal and I absolutely love hot wings. That's it. We came home and went to bed.

The boys were almost in bed so we decided to do cake the next day. I didn't want a cake because I didn't want to eat it all week long just to have another one for Conner in a week so we went to the Sweet Tooth Fairy and we each picked out a different cupcake. The one rule was that mommy got a bite of everyone's since it was my birthday.
This was my favorite. ice cream sundae, and it really tasted like an ice cream sundae. Neil had to take a picture of me trying each cupcake. Definitely not flattering. I'm 33 a milestone, double digits. Only happens a couple times in a lifetime.
