Easter 2014

I really felt like I missed the mark this year for Easter.  Life was just really busy and we never had time to do all our fun little traditions like color eggs (I had cooked them), bunny cakes (I made the cakes, just didn't decorate), Easter egg FHE, community Easter egg hunts.  Luckily Linda held true and had her annual Hibbert Easter Egg Hunt at her house.  The kids were so excited.  Part of the problem was we had soccer Easter Saturday from 9-2.  This was the first year that we've had soccer so it just kind of got in the way of everything else.
I bought this cute little Easter dress on clearance for $5 before Eliza was born and before we even knew it was a girl.  I am so glad she got to wear it.

This year, Neil and Grant had an egg toss.  I think Neil won the first two rounds and instead of stopping while he was ahead he went a couple more rounds and I think Grant ended up beating him.  After the uncles had their share of fun the grandkids wanted in on the action.

Allison had us over for Easter dinner on Sunday.  She grilled pork chops that were mighty fine.  Made me want to invest in a decent grill.  She also had an egg hunt for the kids.

The Easter bunny came Sunday afternoon during naps.  It was nice to be able to spend the morning and afternoon talking about the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ, the real meaning for the holiday.
