Meal Plan March 11-17

Here's the link to last week's menu. Meal Plan March 11-17

New this week were the breakfast cookies and breakfast braid. We really liked both of them. The cookies were like trail mix in a cookie shape and the braid was just scrambled eggs and sausage cooked in bread dough. I have about 15 breakfast items that I just rotate through. Our lunches are pretty low key. We usually just eat leftovers or sandwiches or quesadillas. I don't put a lot of effort into lunch. It's just get them fed and in bed for naps. For dinner I tried a few new recipes like tuna noodle casserole. I really can't even believe I made this. Just the sound of it grosses me out but I have a lot of tuna fish in food storage so figured I should use some. The pasta was really good but it would have been a lot better without the tuna. I've made the cheeseburger macaroni before and the kids love it. It's like hamburger helper but from scratch. The alpine soup was also really good. I used turkey sausage to cut down on calories and it added a ton of flavor to the soup.
