Little Boys

Today I have 9 kids (7 boys and 2 girls) 7 and under at my house and probably more when the neighbor boys get home from school. I'm helping a friend out who flew to Hawaii today. I keep thinking I'll get pay back one day when I get a chance to go on a fun getaway like that. I've been dreading this day all week expecting it to be crazy but it has been the best day yet this week. There has been no fighting or whining or complaining Just happy content kids. The boys are playing so well together. I've actually gotten all my laundry done and folded and put away and cleaned up a little plus I was able to exercise and take a shower which always makes the day successful. I was a little worried about having to walk with all the kids to get Sam from school but it was a piece of cake. I'm sure I looked like mother duck with all her ducklings wasddling behind her. It just made me happy right now seeing all 7 boys with some kind of ship in their hands flying them all over the house, climbing on chairs, couches, tables, stools and making flying noises. Yes my boys can drive me crazy but I wouldn't trade them for anything. I''m so glad I get to experience both the boy world and the girl world. I'm one lucky momma.
