Valentine

Neil and I have made some financial goals and have been saving intensely which means we haven't paid for a babysitter for 2 months, which translates to no going out for 2 months. We do things at home. Anyway it's Valentine's and we were debating on getting a sitter for the Stake Valentine's Dance but we waited to long. Friday afternoon our friend calls and offers to watch the kids since his wife has to work unitl 11pm. Heck Yeah! We were on it. We were able to go to dinner with some gift certificates from Christmas and go to the dance. It was a much needed out. For Valentine's Neil and I decided to focus on the kids. They woke up to their Valentine's from both Grandparents and they felt so special and loved. The boys made sure Lucy got her fair share of the chocolate. I really didn't want to cook so we decided to go to Chuck-a-Rama, the boys absolutely favorite restaurant. We all ate ourselves sick. Sam just kept moaning all the way home. They were so good at the restaurant until at the end when Mikey was being silly and ran from the table and ran into a boy who dropped his glass of milk all over Mikey's head and back. Neil was furious with Mikey. Way to ruin Valentines Mikey. Conner never stopped talking when he got home from school. Seriously I don't think I've ever heard him talk so much. Must have been the sugar high he was on from school. I've got the best husband! I love him so much and I couldn't ask for better kids.
Our little Valentine Princess or as Sam would say, Valentine Ballerina. If only she'd keep the cute flower in her hair to complete the outfit.

I love all your posts. I am glad you are getting to experience "little girl-hood." And BTW Anna thinks I am going to have another girl and then a boy too. But I am not putting my faith in her. She's trying to kill me off. And those hot wings look SO good. You'll have to teach me how to make em cause we love em too.

I wish we were there to be your free babysitters - We only paid for sitters 3 times in our life, and 2 of those were recently here in Chile. Yesterday we had Joe babysit again and it went great. :) glad you were able to go out!! Miss you all
