Shoe-A-Holic

Lucy loves shoes. The other day when Presley was here, Presley had some silver sequined shiny tennis shoes. Lucy wanted them so bad. As soon as Presley took them off Lucy went for them and grabbed them and turned her back to everyone very sneakily and tried to put them on. Those were now her shoes and no one was coming between her and her new love. Several times a day she crawls up to me with one of her shoes and throws it at me grunting, obviously wanting me to put them on her. Today we were shopping and their were some cute shoes on clearance but I wasn't sure what size to get so I took her shoe off and put the new shoe on and you want to see a kid light up. When she saw the new shoe on her foot she sat up taller, smiled the biggest smile and twisted her foot around in all different directions to see it at every angle. I just had to get them after that reaction. She was so happy. I've heard of my friend's girls having fettishes with shoes and Lucy does. It cracks me up. So now I'm definitely starting to see the differences between boys and girls. After having three boys a lot of my girliness has left me but I'm going to have to channel it to keep up with Luc! Oh how I love that little girl, with her attitude and all!
