Sleep Walking

Last night Neil and I were talking while he cleaned the kitchen and I sat and stuffed my face with ice cream. We heard a kid get up and go to the bathroom and a couple minutes later Conner comes down the stairs with a dazed look on his face and walks around the kitchen looking for something. We ask him what he's looking for and he kind of mumbles. He eventually sits down in a chair and then lays across the table. We'd ask him questions and he'd just mumble. I was laughing so hard and Neil kept getting mad at me because he wanted to see where this whole little sleep walking was going to go. Finally Neil picked him up and put him back to bed. Conner didn't remember any of it this morning and actually got upset and a little mad that I was accusing him of sleep walking.

I'm not sure if Lucy has the stomach flu or if she ate something bad but yesterday she puked her guts out and couldn't keep anything down although she was hungry. I have the hardest time cleaning up throw up. I dry heave the whole time. I count my blessing again for the carpet cleaner. It has been my saving grace. She woke up covered in throw up again but has kept everything else down so far this morning. Last night as Neil and I were talking in bed he wondered if her milk was spoiled. My stomach just dropped. I never check the whole milk since I don't drink it. The thougth that I'd been giving my child spoiled milk made me so sick to my stomach. Neil hopped out of bed and and went and checked and it was just fine. Oh good, now no one can accuse me of child abuse.

Totally just caught up on all of your latest posts. your kids are so funny! Patrick chipped both of his front teeth too, last summer, so he gets to look funny for a while. his teeth are so crooked and cramped its all a mess anyway. poor kid. It's nice to know what you've all been up to. we miss you!

I was a sleepwalker. I love it when my kids talk in their sleep - I always ask questions and try to encourage more dialog to see what happens. Funny Conner
