Sammy's Talk and Beautifulness

Sammy had to give a talk in Primary today and Neil helped him since I was gone. He talked about the polar star and how fisherman used the polar star to find their way back home and how the scriptures are the words of God and like the polar star, that if we learn and study them we'll know what to do to make it back home to Heavenly Father. It was really cute and he had it all memorized and got up their all by himself and he had some objects to hold up. First off he talks so loud in the microphone and makes everyone laugh and then he says almost all his talk and realizes he didn't hold up his objects so he gets a little embarassed and giggles and says oops I need to start over in the cutest way. He starts over and says it again holding up the objects this time. That kid is not afraid to be in front of people.

Something I didn't want to forget is the other day when I picked Conner up from school he was so excited and he ran to the van and the first thing out his mouth was Mommy their were some groups that came to sing at our school and the girls were so beautiful. I was a little shocked. When had my 6 year old son ever talked about a girl being beautiful so I asked him were other kids talking about how beautiful they were thinking the thought had been put in his head but he said no, I just thought they were beautiful. Then he said but Mommy don't worry, they weren't any more beautiful than you. They were the same beautifulness as you. That made me laugh so hard. I think he thought he might have hurt my feelings or maybe he remembered Neil always telling them I hope you marry someone as beautiful as your mom. Anyway I had a good laugh partly because seeing how I've been looking lately, that ain't saying much.
