Thanksgiving

We had our own little Thanksgiving dinner the eve of Thanksgiving, the day of Mikey's party. We had invited some friends over to enjoy it with us but at the last minute they had to cance because of illness. Neil and I were so relieved. Now we didn't have to clean up the dishes or entertain. We were going on 4 hours of sleep and were dying. Dinner was great and we ate the leftovers all week long. I froze one meal that I can't wait to eat again. The boys were so excited to drink out of the fancy goblets and I kept telling them to be careful and to not break it because I won't be able to buy any that match. They were so good but as I was washing them I dropped one in the sink and broke it. Way to go mom. We didn't get to the dishes for 3 days.
On Thanksgiving Thursday we went to Hibbert Headquarters for an awesome meal. Grant and Stephanie were there and Beka. They played legos for a long time until we got out the wii and that's all my boys wanted to do. The Hibberts got Mikey some new trains for his birthday so he was in heaven.

We went to bed that night at 11pm and I had no plan to get up and go shopping on Black Friday because I was so exhausted and there was nothing I really needed so I didn't set my alarm but of course my body would not let me sleep and I woke up at 2:30 and Kohl's was calling my name. I had some great coupons that allowed me to get some great deals. My Christmas shopping is done. So I have yet to miss an early morning Black Friday. I love it!
