Mikey's 3 Year Old Party

We celebrated Mikey's birthday on Wednesday and he asked for a Thomas cake so Neil and I couldn't let him down. Most years we've decorated a special cake for the kids. I hope that this will be one memory the kids remember when they're gone is that their parents' made the coolest cakes. We stayed up until 3 am finishing this cake. You know when you get tired you start working slow. It was so worth it. As soon as Mikey woke up he ran down the stairs asking if we had made him a Thomas cake. He was so happy to see this cake. We had went to Winco and he picked out the objects the train was going to pull and he'd go up to strangers and hold up his candy and say Thomas is going to pull these gummy bears, marshmallows and animals, etc. We went to Chuck E Cheese and then out to lunch. After lunch every one took a nap. That night we had cake and he opened presents, all train gear. Mikey still loves trains beyond anything else.

I love this little guy so much. He is just so fun and too cute with the sweetest little voice.
