It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!
The plan was to put the Christmas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving as we always do but this year the house was such a mess I just couldn't do it. I told Neil we had to have the house clean before we made a bigger mess with all the bins so it didn't happen on Friday and almost didn't happen on Saturday. The house still was not clean but we wanted the tree up and the other decorations would have to wait. I love our Christmas tree. Each day I've been able to put a little up. I love my house at Christmas time. All the banisters are decorated with lighted garland. It makes such a lovely glow every night. I've fallen asleep twice already on the living room couch just watching the lights. It is so peacful. Luckily Neil had put the outside lights up earlier before the snow hit. Our house is just a glow at night. The brightest one on the block. I love all the white lights we have but the kids love the color so we may be hitting the after Christmas sales to get lights. I wish our house could stay decorated all year long. It is such a nice feeling. I don't have many decorations up otherwise, maybe that's part of the problem.

So cute, Sam under the tree. I miss you so much! Lucy is getting so darn cute!
I said the same thing- we aren't putting up any Christmas decorations until the house is clean! We barely got around to it yesterday. Good for you Neil putting up lights outside. We are still trying to convince The Grinch- I mean Ben- to put ours up. Its not looking promising. Maybe we will come to your house and enjoy yours!
I'm with you! I looove sleeping to Christmas lights. You did a wonderful job! The decorations are beautiful! I loove your tree and the banister garland, and the ribbon outside!
