Conner started 1st grade on August 11th and he is loving it. He likes going all day but the only thing I hear about is that they have 3 recesses. A neat story is for fhe I gave a lesson on prayer and how Heavenly Father hears our prayers and wants to help us. Up until this time, Conner just played my himself at recess and he was totally fine with that but as a mother you want your kids to have friends so I'd encourage him to talk to others. So at fhe I asked all the kids what is something they could ask Heavenly Father to help them with and Conner said to make a friend so we prayed that night that he'd make a friend and guess what. The next day when I picked him up the first words out of his mouth was I played with Jacob at all 3 recesses and he asked if I could come play at his house today. I was so happy. Heavenly Father answered his prayer. I wasn't sure if Jacob had asked his mom so I told them maybe the next day but about an hour after being home there was knock on the door and there was Jacob asking if Conner could play. I know his mom from yw's and live a couple streets over so I knew it would be okay. They've been playing everyday ever since.
