Visit With Jaimee and Train Museum

Jaimee Kesterson, a college roomate, came down from Washington so we got together at the Ogden train museum being as she has two boys who love trains. The kids went crazy. They had real trains the kids could climb on and a ton of electric model trains in glass cases and the kids would have to follow them to see it. It was so cute to see the 5 boys running after the trains. Too bad the models were in a narrow hall way and an onery old man walked by and made a comment about how we had no control over our kids letting them run wild. Kevin, Jaimee's husband could not keep his mouth shut and we almost had a fight. For the record, the kids were not wild. They were just really excited, almost too excited and the hallways were narrow so it was hard to pass each other. It kind of put a damper on things. I know when my kids are out of control and they weren't. There was also a kid area where they could play trains and be an engineer and pretend to drive a train. The kids thought it was awesome. As an adult not into trains I didn't think it was all that but I just don't get their love of trains. They can't wait to go back again.




The next week I also got together with Jaimee, Kristin and Raya (we were all roomates) at a McD's in Lehi. I thought it would be a great idea, we could all talk and the kids could play but it seemed other mother in Lehi had the same idea so it was so packed and crazy. It didn't help that we had 12 kids between us to keep tabs on. It was still so fun to see everyone.
