Father's Day
I hope Neil had a good Father's Day. I got up early and made his favorite breakfast item of all time, biscuits and sausage gravy, with all the fixins. We also got him the Chronicles of Narnia book and cd's. Too bad I'm the one reading it. I've already read them before but love them and am amazed that CS Lewis wrote them with so much symbolism. It's mind boggling. Sam and Mikey made him felt ties and Conner made him an M&M bowtie at church. They were too cute. When we got home I told him you have the day off, go take a much needed nap but he didn't. Instead he said this a day to celebrate being a father and I don't want a day off. (Made me feel like a rotten mother because I did take the day off on Mother's Day. At least he didn't have to change any diapers.) He proceeded to spend over an hour making a marble course from the top of the stairs to the bottom with Conner and Sam. He cleaned it up before I could get a picture but they used almost every toy imaginable. It was pretty cool. I know everyone thinks they have the best husband as do I. I definitely married the right person for me. I couldn't ask for a better companion. He always puts my needs and our families above everything else. He's just amazing. I honestly have nothing to complain about. I love him dearly and hope I make him as happy as he makes me every day.

That sounds like Neil, to make something fun like that with his boys. Even Jared would comment, like up in Yellowstone, "He's a good dad".
Amy, you did marry an amazing man. Five sisters can tell you that Neil is one great guy who takes care of the women in his life (first you, then his mom, then his sisters).
