Day Out With Thomas
Over Memorial Day weekend Thomas came to the Heber Valley Railroad. It would have cost close to $100 for our family to go and so we decided we weren't going to go. At a ward activity, a family in the ward with boys told us how they took their boys and although it was pricey it was so worth it. Neil and I decided we had to take Sam. He's the one who would really enjoy it and besides why do we all have to go. It could be Sammy's special day. We thought Conner might feel bad and that morning he wanted to go but when we gave him the choice to go or stay home and play video games, he chose video games, Phew. That probably wasn't the best negotiation but it worked. Sam had the time of his life and just ran from one thing to the next. Neil had a hard time keeping up with him. It was so cute and made me so happy. As we were looking at all the pictures and videos, Conner commented how Sam always wanted to ride Thomas and finally got a chance. I asked Conner what's the one thing you've always wanted to do. Well be on the Price is Right. Of course, I should have known. Too bad he'll have to wait 13 1/2 more years for that dream to come true.

My sister, her husband, their two boys, my brother, and my parents were all there on Memorial Day.
