Safety First
Ever since I taught Adult Roles at Park City High I am very aware of my safety and take every precaution to keep myself safe from others. I hate having workers/strangers come to my house. I get so uneasy, especially when Neil is not home. I hate that in today's world I just don't trust anyone even though they are all usually good people. Well today I had the Sears repairman come over to rebalance our washer and two ladies from Hill Air Force Base come over to do some air sampling (since we live so close to base there is a chance of groundwater contamination so they come out and check every year if you request it). I was nervous all morning. I told Neil I will text you as soon as they arrive and then I have HELP already as a text to send to him in case anything happens. He is then to call the neighbor to come over asap and I always have the front door unlocked when someone is in my house. Am I a little paranoid. I guess I've watched to many Law and Orders or crime shows. But as women we need to make sure we always have a plan for safety. I always check my back seat before getting into my car or van to make sure no one is in there. I always drive with the doors locked so no one can jump in and when at a stop. The other day we were at a stop light and I looked over at the car beside me and there was a guy who looked a little shady. I turned to Neil and asked what if that guy pulled out a gun right now and shot me because he doesn't like the way I looked. Neil laughed and asked where in the world did that come from. I have thoughts like that all the time. Okay so I am a little paranoid.

ME TOO! Some guy in Wal-Mart was wearing a black trench coat and I had the biggest urge to run for it! I think it has something to do with being a mother.
