Ever since this post

two weeks ago I have been craving a hamburger. I finally gave in and made them the other night and I devoured mine in about 30 seconds. I wish I would have gotten a picture. They were huge, enormous and tasty. I made my own crusty buns that were delish. I didn't read the instructions first. Usually rolls take me about 2 hours to make so that's what I thought these would but no they took 4 hours so being as I started dinner at 3:30 I was really behind. I didn't let them raise the whole amount of time but who would have known. Once they were done I split them open buttered them and broiled them so they were toasty. For the hamburger I added some Canadian steak seasoning and Tabasco and cooked them on our indoor grill. Our house still smells like a big fat hamburger 3 days later. I topped them with some provolone cheese and let it melt. I had caramelized a red onion in butter and brown sugar and this is totally what made the burger. Who would have guessed these onions would have been so good. You gotta try it. Then we just topped them off with some green leaf lettuce, tomato and pickles. I was in complete hamburger heaven. Nothing beats a homemade hamburger. I had a leftover one for lunch today and so I'm just reminiscing a bit to the other night. I could eat another one right now.
