Here are some pictures from Lucy's blessing. It was a wonderful day. All of my siblings were able to be there. We were able to bless her with her cousin Sophie who is just a month older than Lucy and that was special. The Smarts then let us all come over to their house for a luncheon. It was so nice. I debated whether or not to make her dress. It just seemed like there was no time so I went looking at dresses and when I saw most were over $100 I decided I better make it, besides I have always said I can't wait to have a girl so I can sew her all the frilly stuff and here was my first chance and I wasn't going to take it. I stayed up two nights until 2:30 am to finish before my family arrived. I absolutely loved how it turned out. Neil was such a proud father. I thought it was so cute he came out in a tie he had never worn before, pink, and told me he finally had a reason to wear it. So sweet. Lucy did great--never had a melt down the whole day.
