The Growler

Mikey doesn't say much yet but in the past week and a half he has begun to communicate through growls. It's not a scream or a yell but rather a very loud and deep bear growl. If you look at him the wrong way, take something away, touch him, anything he growls. On the way home Saturday it was 9 pm and the kids had not had a nap and were loopy and Mikey started to growl about something and it made Conner and Sam laugh hysterically so he growled the whole way home. It was pretty funny that time but yesterday at church he must have remembered how funny it was the night before and would not keep quiet no matter how many times we smothered his mouth with a cloth. We kept him in the meeting until the sacrament was passed and then I stayed out in the foyer with him the rest of the meeting and let him growl at anyone he wanted. He's beginning to drive me crazy. And he was just too sweet 2 months ago. How easy they turn.

I am laughing out loud! Darren thinks he must be getting tired of his brothers messing with him or taking things away from him!
