Mikey has finally started to give real hugs, but the catch is he only gives them to Sam. Friday Sam comes running up to my bedroom and exclaims, "Mikey gave me a hug!" Mikey isn't far behind with a big smile on his face. I ask Mikey to give Sam a hug and he starts to walk to Sam with arms wide open and gives him the biggest, sweetest hug with his head pressed to Sam's chest. I just melted. I ask Mikey to give me a hug and once again he turns to Sam. Sam would make it a game and Mikey would chase him around the room with his arms open wide giggling until he finally caught him and could smother him. Too cute!
Mikey has also started to walk backwards. He loves it. He pretty much cracks himself up. He'll walk backwards and then start walking in circles like a cat trying to get its tail. He cracks me up.
