This is so awful to admit but in the summer of 2013, I promised the kids that if they finished their school workbooks, I would make them their own (12) batch of cookies. Both Sam and Mikey finished theirs and yet I never made the cookies. Sam would often remind me but for whatever reason I never did it. Finally Neil got tired of Sam's pestering and he took it upon himself to make the cookies with the boys. Sam made chocolate crinkles and Mikey wanted lemon crinkles.
What a man! It's not the first time he's picked up my slack and it won't be the last.
