Sam's Baptism

Sam got baptized on May 3rd.  He was pretty excited for this day to finally arrive.  We had soccer in the morning and then we quickly got changed for his baptism.
The white Ninjas.  When Sam got dressed in his jumper he announced that he felt like the white ninja in Ninjago.  Neil  used the analogy that just like Ninjas have special powers when we're confirmed we're given a special power in the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I am so thankful for the priesthood that Neil holds and honors and that he was able to use it to provide the saving ordinance of baptism for our son Sam.

It was a special day.  We had several people come out and support Sam and we appreciated it.  I am so glad my mom was able to come.  I just wish I would have gotten a picture with Sam and his grandparents.  After the baptism and meal we came back home and my kids and Jaxson were playing with some neighbor kids and a fight took place and one of the boys went home crying.  Sam, on his accord, went over to the boy's house and apologized.  He was pretty emotional when he came inside but I was so proud of him for choosing the right.  Sam is such a great kid.  I just love having him in our family.
