Mother's Day 2014

The kids were so sweet this year.  Conner and Sam got up early and made breakfast for me while Neil and I slept in.  Conner made pancakes and Sam made yogurt parfaits.  They all had made little presents that they were so excited to give me.  Conner and Sam and made some tile coasters with their pictures on them in scouts.  I love them and are one of those things I'll hold onto forever and bring them out when Conner brings a date over or something.  I'm rarely in pictures so I've decided that each year I've to get a picture with all my kids.

 Get Your Crazy On!
Was the day void of fighting and messes like I dream, Negatory but that doesn't change the fact that I love being a mom more than anything.  I think what made my day was we had a special combined Relief Society lesson and all the young women and their leaders as well as all the Primary leaders got to come join us while the men attended to the Primary classes.  There was just something special about all being together that touched me so much.  We had cinnamon rolls and fruit salad for all the sisters and a special lesson that included the young women singing and the Young Women's president and 1st counselor in Relief Society sharing a message and then a special musical number about mothers at the end.  It was just wonderful.

While I napped Neil went down to visit his mom.  He wanted to give her something but does not eat any junk so we came up with a berry bouquet.  I think it turned out pretty cute.

I am so glad Neil lives close enough to visit his parents and that they have such a great relationship and that he honors his mom.  You know she's a great mom because look at what a wonderful son she helped raise.
